Our reception staff do not have personal knowledge of client matters and for reasons of security client should not discuss their matters with reception under any circumstances

Email communications should be kept as short as possible and they will be dealt with in the same timeframe as post unless the fee earner assesses the nature of the email to be urgent.

We do not provide a "text" response service, i.e. voicemails and emails will not be responded to immediately. In the event of excessive use of email and telephone calls we reserve the right to charge clients an additional fee at our entire discretion.
Please note we do not tolerate aggressive behaviour. Should any action amount to aggression, to include by way of correspondence, email, telephone call or attendance at the office (whether with or without an appointment), we will stop acting on your transaction. This includes the over excessive use of emails or telephone calls.

1. Normally any communication with a third-party
2. Acting as your representative by filing documents or conducting your litigation
3. Attending court hearings for you. This can be arranged but we will need to enter into a separate agreement with you about this. Alternatively we have good established business relationships with experienced barristers/counsel and where appropriate you may be able to instruct them on the direct public access basis but you would need to enter into a separate agreement with the barrister about this stop you will be liable directly for their fees which normally have to be paid in advance.

6. A full contract/agreement which guarantees that we will advise you from the beginning to the end of your case.

Please note there is a duty to the court as well as to you. If we become aware that you have misled or intend to mislead the court in any way we will advise you to bring this to the attention of the court. If you do not do so we will not be able to continue to advise you. However, your dealings with us are confidential so we will not provide any information about you to the court or any other party without your permission unless we are compelled to do so by a court order or other applicable legislation.

1989 Joined David Pinto Solicitors Fleet Senior Associate dealing with both property matters family law and general litigation

1993 founded own firm Robert Cook and Co subsequently becoming  CooksLaw.com in Fleet Hampshire until 2010 became consultant with Neale Turk LLP when they took over the firm 

 2011 Retired from General Practice  no longer practising as a solicitor

 2012  Opened  RJ LEGAL SERVICES - LEGAL CONSULTANTS and continuing
